Bio: I am a writer, healer, artist, teacher, cacaoista, tutor and coach. I am a multi-creative with many healing approaches to creativity, body, mind and spirit. I help you heal through writing, art, ceremony and more.
I have been studying healing, the creative process and working with my guides for over twenty-five years. I have also studied music, shamanism, improv and dance.
I am a trained a Cacaoista, I lead individual and group tea & cacao ceremonies, with beverage of choice.
I write every day have filled over 150 notebooks with journaling and creative writing. I found that I not only love creating, but also love giving myself the free daily therapy that writing provides. I have been published in number of literary magazines including Paragraph, Seeing the Snow, Peninsula Poets, Harpy Hybrid Review, Wishbone Words Magazine, and Open Minds Quarterly.
I have studied many art forms including watercolor, drawing, mixed media, art journaling, photography, Photoshop, Pan Pastel, Gelli Plate Printing, and more. My art journal was published in Art Journaling Magazine.
I teach both writing and art classes. I have found that teaching art combines my love of creativity with my love of healing. I have taught writing, journaling, art journaling, The Artist's Way, Write for Life, adult coloring book play, Gelli Plate Printing, Collage, Nature Jouranling and more.
I have trained as a Creativity Coach and help you develop creative practices and finish creative projects as well as tutor writing and art.
I have a Masters degree of Occupational Therapy from Easter Michigan University and I am a graduate of Health Enrichment Center’s school of therapeutic massage where I also studied additional advanced therapeutic massage. I do many kinds of energy work including Chakra Balancing, CranioSacral Therapy, Manual Medicine and Access Consciousness Bars.
I intend to heal with every aspect of what I do. Including sharing different kinds of energy work and sound healing.
